Service Support Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our insurance clients, answering inquiries, processing changes, working with various teammates, and ensuring that client information is accurate and up to date in the agency management system.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for insurance clients, providing outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person
  • Greet customers as the enter the agency understand the reason for their visit. Coordinate with the team that is needed to help.
  • Process back-end changes to insurance policies and our agency management system
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Respond timely to requests to complete work accurately and efficiently as trained
  • Ensure that all client information is accurate and up to date in the agency management system
  • Prepare and distribute insurance certificates and other policy documents
  • Work collaboratively with other members of The Clausen Agency to ensure client needs are met
  • Open mail that comes to agency and follow required steps as trained

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient with computer usage and e-mail management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

COMMERCIAL LINES SALES STRATEGIST

This is an outstanding opportunity for a high performing Commercial Lines Sales Strategist with sales leadership experience!  We would like to hire someone who is energetic and a motivated professional with a unique skillset and outstanding customer service skills to work in a fast-paced environment.  We are in need of someone who has a thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance and the products andwants to work for a FRIENDLY, FUN, and GROWING company!

Responsibilities as described below:

  • You must have a NY P&C Insurance license with 3-5 years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Executive
  • Proven track record in marketing new business as well as renewal policies and account rounding submissions
  • Adept in forming strong relationships with underwriters and proceed to negotiate hard-to-place risks with them
  • Highly sales goal oriented with a thorough understanding of commercial insurance
  • Skillfully work a high volume, high service book of business
  • Knowledgeable with standard lines rating systems
  • Capable of the review of applications, quotes, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy
  • Proficient in underwriting risks
  • Ability to coordinate well with Producers while mindfully handling their requests
  • Experienced in:
    • Issuing of id cards
    • Policy endorsements
    • Assisting in audit disputes
    • Working on recommendations form carriers
    • Completing Accord applications
    • Negotiating product placement and premium with underwriters and general managing agents

 

Requirements as described below:

  • Broker Licensed for Property and Casualty Insurance with at least 3- 5  years’ experience in the Commercial side of the business
  • Clear and polite telephone manner
  • Energetic, positive, bubby personality and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with experience using Word
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a fun and positive attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced environment allowing for interruptions

  • Applied Epic experience a plus

Annual Base Salary:  $70,000

Total yearly compensation including commission:  $75,000 – $80,000

Client Experience Representative

Job Summary:

Our insurance company is seeking a Client Experience Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients by responding to inquiries, processing policy changes, resolving issues, and educating customers on our insurance products and services. The Client Experience Representative will work collaboratively with other team members to meet or exceed performance targets and will maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from customers via phone, email, or chat, and provide accurate and timely information on insurance products and services.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations as requested.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team members.
  • Educate customers on our insurance products and services and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional policies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete customer records in our CRM system, and update policy information as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet or exceed performance targets and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and customer service best practices

Requirements:

 

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate customer records and process policy changes accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet performance targets.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, telephone systems, and other software tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
